Some of you have heard this already.
I sat on the runway in Indy for two hours on Monday while people at O'Hare tried to chase a COYOTE off the runway. Ashley thought that was funny.
They couldn't catch or tranquilize the animal, and they sure as heck couldn't shoot the guy. Took two hours, and they finally chased him back into the woods. The pilot said the excuse was sort of like "The dog ate my homework", only this time it was the truth.
Then I sat in O'Hare for five more hours while they tried to find a crew for my flight to Springfield, MO. Such fun.
Anyway, Springfield is also the airport for Branson, MO. On the flight were about ten dancers from the London troupe, "Spirit of the Dance"...........sort of like Lord of the Dance. They were going to Branson for a one month engagement.
And they got really bored, these kids, so at 1100pm, three of them got up, and on the tile floor in front of the gate, went through an entire dance routine (one number), in street clothes, to either 1) entertain themselves, or 2) entertain us.
Either way, it worked. Neat to watch, and boy are these kids in shape.
Oh, yeah, I got to Springfield, MO, at 2AM.
Just another day in paradise.........................
